one of the most enjoyable things I do in my life believe it or not is “cooking” especially baking cakes! I enjoy it, I love the smell of the vanilla & chocolate

few days ago I came cross Chris Bliss’s blog. What attracted me in Chris’s blog is his attempt of introducing different types of food from different restaurants that are mostly located in Dubai (since he’s working as a chief in one of the hotels in Dubai). And you would definitely notice his food photos that would keep you drooling over the keyboard. I’ve come cross some dishes that I’ve never seen/ate before. If you have such sites plz share!

I’ve been trying to contact one of the chiefs who used to give lessons sometimes ago, but unfortunately she’s been admitted to hospital for treatment. And she wont be ready till next October

it’s worth to mention that baking in particular makes me feel good yes it does! I guess it’s a psychological thing. My colleagues loves my cupcakes and they keep asking for more that made thinking of being even more creative but it needs time & patience.

Viva la cupcakes XD .. and plz one last request, if you know any cooking classes that are being arranged in Abu Dhabi let me know ~_~ I know there are in Dubai by Wilton & others but in Abu Dhabi none.

waaaaa!! just came cross iGourmet it’s an amazing site made by Mai whose sharing her own yumy recipes. AH am so baking her cakes & will be sharing it with you!

lazy day

I hate those days where you end up doing nothing useful! and today falls in that category! lazy days category..

most of my lazy days are fridays & sundays argh! i spent the day on the bed watching movies & reading book bout luck, and what made it even worst taking a long nap which was very odd because I normally don’t sleep afternoon & if I did, I wake up cranky & cant stand loud noises. I received a call from my friend who wasn’t in a better position than mine, she was desperate. I had to rush to her after taking a shower. We sat cheering ourselves, trying to look at the good side of our simple life, and listing the blessings we have.

Did you ever consider doing that? knowing & realizing how fortunate you are? I did and here is the list:

Muslim
UAEian
I have a mother
Job despite the fact am not really happy with it
Good salary for a single girl
I have a hot car
I have a gorgeous Pet
PRETTY *self confidence* been underestimating myself enough! till today I had to say it loud!
Have friends who cares bout me
Went for Hajj two years ago
Owns 50+ pair of shoes
Multi talented girl + skills
Started planning for a private business

and the list goes on.. we have everything and yet we complain & nag bout hows life treating us.. look at the good side, thats the morale of this blog entry.

am a pet lover, I luv pets in general starting from my lil eva. I’m watching Dr.Phil now & have to admit I’m terrified by the fact that there is a lady who ownes 190+ cats O_O yes you heard me right 190+ cats. Only those who owns pets knows how much responsibility those animals requires. Thats definitely an obsession not love! I still remember teasing my mum by saying am gonna have my own cats farm, but now after growing up & having one spoiled cat I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND o_O I mean come on! they need extra care, special treatment & if you ever owned a pet like Eva you’ll find yourself buying one type of food which is not even available in Co-ops & major Supermarkets *sigh* but no matter what she’s my fav pet of all times, oh btw while writing this blog she came & sat on ma laptop ~_~

yay just two days ago I received 2 gifts for ma last birthday, what a sweet surprise! >_> I came home the other day to find one BIG box placed in front of ma door that drew a big GRIN on ma face =D thank you *hugs*
